Our company uses Sioux Chief's shower drains exclusively. The 821 models provide generous weep hole openings, and the brass inserts allow us to install the flashing clamp without stripping the threads. I especially like the versatility of the strainer options. Special finish strainers are readily available and easily snapped into place.
